
Lottie J Davis RN, BSN, IBCLC
Lottie is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Registered Nurse. She possesses 35 years of neonatal experience. She began her career in a level 3 NICU at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. After working in the NICU for 11 years, she transitioned to home care for the medically fragile infant. She later returned to the hospital setting and worked as a newborn admission/transition nurse and newborn nursery anchor nurse. After breastfeeding her three sons, she decided to become an IBCLC. While she continued to work in the hospital setting, she also provided private lactation services for 2 large Atlanta pediatric practices (Piedmont Pediatrics and Children’s Medical Group). Before recently relocating to Miramar Beach, FL, Lottie was employed at Northside Hospital in Atlanta for 5 years. Her roles included inpatient lactation rounds, breastfeeding advice line, outpatient consults, and facilitator for the weekly Mom and Me Breastfeeding Support Group.
Lottie’s goal is to empower mothers to nourish their babies by providing appropriate resources, education, and emotional support.
Lottie is an active member of the International Lactation Consultant Association, United States Lactation Consultant Association, Southeastern Lactation Consultant Association, and Florida Lactation Consultant Association.
